Mitchel Lee Bouwman, 47, of Fennville, MI passed away on December 8, 2020. Mitchel was born in Holland, MI to Charles Bouwman and Mary (Bouwman) Warner on October 23, 1973. He went to Fennville Public Schools, and he loved to play football and basketball during his time at Fennville High School. After high school, Mitchel attended University of Northwestern Ohio in Lima, Ohio studying auto mechanic and hydraulics. Mitchel was a highly experienced mechanic by trade and also a jack of all trades. There wasn't anything that he couldn't fix or tinker with. He especially enjoyed working on machinery, such as forklifts and vehicles. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He enjoyed hunting deer, ducks, geese, and any other animal he could eat. Mitchel loved and cherished his family and his many friends very much. His smile had the power to lighten up the room. He will be surely missed by everyone whose lives he touched. He is survived by his mother Mary, and his brothers Bryan and Tracey Bouwman. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, April 18, 2021 at 2:30 PM at Manlius Cemetery. A Celebration of Life gathering will take place after the service at the home of Mary Warner, 5509 Old Allegan Road, Fennville, MI 49408.
