Milford C. Cross, age 78, of Fennville, Michigan passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 at his residence. Born July 5, 1937 in Robbins, TN, he was the son of Clarence and Alta (Wright) Cross. On April 2, 1966 he married Nancy Menear of Fennville. Milford retired from Donnelly Mirror after 29 years of service. He was a member of the N.R.A., North American Hunting Club, and was proud to be in the Pope and Young Record Book for his Black Bear. Milford was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, but most importantly spending time with his family outdoors. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Harlis Cross and Carnel Cross; sisters Ruby Graham, and Lora Mae Hull. Milford is survived by his loving wife Nancy; children Phillip and Jeanette Cross of Pullman, MI, Melinda and Rick Bruechert of West Olive, MI, Michelle and Scott August of Fennville, Patricia Cross of Fennville; 17 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters Violet and Jay Hill of Robins, TN, Linda and Earl McCann of Robins, TN; and sister-in-law Lorraine Cross of Oneida, TN. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Milford's name to Hospice of Holland, 270 Hoover Blvd. Holland, MI 49423. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 10, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W.
