Michael R. Peel, age 62, of Fennville, MI passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Holland Hospital. Born July 22, 1953 in Douglas, he was the son of Robert and Jean (Clover) Peel. Michael worked as a charter fisherman for many years and most recently as a real estate agent for Shoreline Realtors in Douglas for the past 15 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, acting at the Red Barn Theater and was a member of the Lakeshore Community Chorus. Michael also had a book on fishing published. Surviving is his wife of 15 years Donna Peel of Fennville; children Ryan and Alister Peel of Holland, Casey and John Gardea of Fennville, Derek and Diana Peel of San Diego, CA; Stepsons Travis Daniel and Michelle Pickens of Watervliet, MI, John Sullivan of Saugatuck, Ryan and Amanda Sullivan of Holland, and 8 grandchildren. Michael is also survived by his brother Donald and Cecelia Peel of Cheyenne, WY and his mother-in-law Patricia Marcy of Saugatuck. He is preceded in death by his first wife Catherine Peel and his step son Justin Daniel.
