Michael P. Johnson, 53, entered through the gates of heaven Monday, October 18, 2010 at his home in Douglas, Michigan. Born in Bozeman, Montana on February 16, 1957, he grew up in Westmoreland, New York. After graduation from Westmoreland High School he moved to Holland, Michigan. Michael spent the majority of his life in the Holland/Saugatuck Michigan area. Michael worked for Hayworth Industries for 24 years and was an accomplished journeyman. Michael loved to golf, go fishing and play softball with local teams. Michael loved the state of Montana as all of his cousins from the Johnson side mostly resided and spent a lot of family reunions there. Michael loved everyone with his easy going laid back nature and all of his friends in Michigan and friends/family in Westmoreland will miss him deeply. Surviving are his son, Michael of Holland, MI; son Robert of Douglas, MI; parents Everett and Marjorie Johnson of Westmoreland, NY; brother Mark (Pamella) Johnson of Liverpool, NY; nephew Nicholas Johnson and niece Michelle Johnson both of Liverpool, NY.
