Michael Eugene Barnes, 67, of Fennville, Michigan, passed away Friday, December 16, 2022.  Born February 8, 1955 in Allegan, Michigan, he was the son of the late Harold and Jessie (Davis) Barnes.  Michael was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran and member of the Pullman VFW Post 6134. He enjoyed motorcycles and doing charity veterans poker runs with his fellow vets. Michael was a very hard worker and held many roles.  He also enjoyed hunting and fishing in his down time. Michael will be dearly missed by all who know him.

Michael is survived by three siblings, Robert Barnes, Jackie (Gary) Teja, and Pat (Ron) McKellips; stepson, Ed (Dorothy) Ankarstran; and many nieces, nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Harold and Jessie, he was proceeded in death by his wife, Dianne; his brother, Richard Barnes; and his sister, Judy Ferrell.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Michael's name to VFW Post 6134, 5632 109th Ave., Pullman, Michigan 49450.
