Meliton Almanza, age 78 of Fennville, Michigan passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015 at his home. Born April 1, 1937 in Mexico, he was the son of Cresenciano and Maria Almanza. Meliton was a farmer and a member of San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife Santiaga. Surviving is his wife Martha Garcia Almanza, children; Olympia Almanza, Yolanda Almanza, Maria de La Luz Almanza, Alejandrina Almanza, Pamela Almanza, Almadalia Almanza, Teodoro Almanza, Ramiro Almanza, Sergio Almanza, Eleazar Almanza, Meliton Almanza Jr. Edgar Almanza, and many great and great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 2-8 p.m. at the Chappell Funeral Home Fennville, Michigan. Funeral mass will be 4:00 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2015, at San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church in Pearl. Officiating will be Fr.
