Max E. Keirnan, age 90, of Holland, died on Sunday July 14, 2013 at Lakeside Vista Assisted Living in Holland. Max was born on February 12, 1923 in Fennville the son of Harry and Irene (Kingsberry) Keirnan. In 1952 Max married Mildred Sherwood and together they enjoyed 61 years of marriage. Max loved music; he could play just about anything he picked up. He also loved to travel, over the years he and Mildred would travel across the country in their motor home and loved to see new places. Max is loved and survived by his wife; Mildred, his sons; Richard (Melissa) Keirnan and Martin Keirnan, as well as four grand children. Graveside services for Max will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Taylor Cemetery in Ganges Township with Pastor Jack Balgenorth officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Wednesday at Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St., Fennville. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Hospice of Holland or Lakeside Vista Assisted Living; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
