Maude A. Homes, 78 of Holland, died Friday, July 21, 2006, in Resthaven Care Center. Born in Hart, she was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lesley, in 1994; and by two daughters, Susan Studemyer and Krista Holmes. Surviving are her children, Kathleen Hathaway of Holland, Rebecca and Timothy Leach of Fennville, Ronald Holmes of Muskegon, Richard and Faye Holmes of Bitely, and Robert Holmes of Hamilton; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Charles and Laura Prudy of White Cloud; and a sister, Neva and Cleland Nicholes of Cedar Springs, MI. A memorial service is 11:00 A.M. Thursday, July 27, 2006 at the Holland Church of Christ, 405 Beeline Rd. Holland, MI. Memorials may be made to the Holland Rescue Mission
