Sgt. Mateo D. Donaldson, age 33 formerly of Fennville, Michigan passed away Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015. Born in Columbia, he grew up in Fennville on the family farm, and married his wife Mayme on Sept. 6, 2004. Mateo served 10 years in the United States Navy and then 4 years in the United States Army. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Hope Church Holland, Michigan. Surviving is his wife Mayme Donaldson, children; Daniela Ottwell-Donaldson, Brooklynn Donaldson, Abegail Donaldson, Matteson Donaldson, parents John VanVoorhees and Joan Donaldson, and one brother Carlos Donaldson.
