Mary V. Weed, age 85, of Fennville, died Friday, Aug. 7, 2009 at Holland Community Hospital. Born Aug. 26, 1923, in Glenn, MI, she was the daughter of Leon and Blanche (Foster) Warren. A graduate of South Haven High School, Mary married George F. Weed April 28, 1951, George preceded her in death September 14, 2008. Mary was a member of the Glenn United Methodist Church. Surviving are her children, James and Beth Weed of Havre De Grace, Maryland, and Linda and Tim Stennett of Fennville, grandchildren, Laura, Michelle, Philip and Amanda, great-grandchildren, Naomi and Zeke, sister-in-law Nelda Warren of Glenn, MI. Visitation will be Monday, Aug 10, 2009 from 6-8 pm at the Chappell Funeral Home, and funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009 at the funeral home, with Rev. Jean Smith officiating. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery Ganges Township. Memorial donations may be made to the Glenn United Methodist Church or the American Lung Association.
