Mary Jane Sims, 58 of Fennville died Wednesday, March 19, 2008 in Holland, Michigan. Born July 11, 1949 in Mountain View, Arkansas to Charles Ray Thomas and Hasel (McCarty) Thomas. She married Jack Owen Sims on February 14, 1981 in Ganges Township, Michigan. She worked for Life Saver's in Holland, Michigan for 29 years. Surviving are her husband, Jack O. Sims of Fennville: one sister, Barbara (Richard) Loudin of Fennville: one brother, Bob and (Joan) Thomas of Fennville: a niece, Robin Schalte, of Fennville; and two nephews, Brent and (Debi) Loudin of Holland; Bobby Thomas of South Haven; She was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Frank and her parents. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. at Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St., Fennville, Michigan with Mr. Brent Loudin officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of service beginning at 3:00 P.M. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
