Mary Rose Simon, 95, of Douglas, died Saturday, July 21, 2007, at Harbors Health Facility in Douglas. Born in Chicago, she was a retired bank secretary. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles F. Simon on Dec. 1, 1987. She is survived by a daughter, Nancy M. Payne of Hot Springs, Ark., two grandchildren; six great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, and a sister. Visitation is 2 to 4 p.m. today at Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St., Fennville, with a prayer service at 2 p.m. Graveside services are Tuesday at at 10 p.m. at Taylor Cemetery in Ganges Township with the Rev. Ronald Turcich officiating. Memorials may be made to the Harbors Health Facility Activities Department.
