Mary Lou Ridley, age 87 of South Haven, Michigan passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015 at Ely Manor in Allegan, Michigan. Born October 19, 1927 in Glenn, Michigan, she was the daughter of Leo and Freda (Schroder) Dornan. Mary Lou was a graduate of South Haven High School and the National Beauty College. She was a homemaker and beautician working in beauty shops in Fennville and South Haven and having her own in Glenn for many years. She lived all her life in the Glenn and Casco area, and enjoyed gardening quilting, hunting, fishing, and being a 4-H leader for many years, she was a member of the Casco United Methodist Church,helping in many church functions. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years Victor Ridley on Sept. 26, 1996, three brothers and one sister. Surviving are her children Ronald and Maxine Ridley of South Haven, MI, John and Jenny Ridley of Chelsea, MI, Steve Ridley of South Haven, MI, 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. At her request cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at the Casco United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Casco United Methodist Church or the Casco Community Band.
