Mary Kay Lambers

December 7, 1956 – August 25, 2024

Mary Kay Lambers passed into eternal glory with renewed spirit and mind on August 25, 2024, after complications of a fall and broken hip.

Mary Kay was born to Kenneth and Kathleen (Buursma) Lambers on December 7, 1956, in Holland, Michigan.

She will be deeply missed and remembered by her brother William, Nephew Martin, and a host of cousins and friends.

She graduated from Holland High School in 1975 and attended college and lived in Kalamazoo area for many years.

Mary Kay assisted in the care of her mother and resided with her at Care Cardinal of Macatawa for several years and the family would like to extend our thanks to the staff for the loving care they provided.

Mary Kay enjoyed reading, crafts, games, puzzles, and one of her favorite activities was participating and listening to the choirs at Christ Memorial and Park Christian Reformed Churches.

Mary Kay navigated a difficult journey for most of her adult life with Bi-Polar disorder. With a legacy universally being described by her caregivers as "Sweet" she was blessed with a servant's heart and enjoyed doing for others.

A celebration of life will be held September 18th, 2024, at Park Christian Reformed Church, 1496 W. 32nd St. Holland, MI 49423. With a visitation from 10:30-11:30am and the service starting at 11:30am. Immediately followed by snacks and sharing memories of Mary Kay.
