Mary Maxine (Carter) Fowler, 98 of South Haven, Michigan passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020 at the Meadow Woods Nursing Home in Bloomingdale, Michigan. Born January 27, 1922 in South Haven, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Anna (Baily) Carter and the wife of the late Charles E. Fowler. Mary was known by her middle name, Maxine. She spent her whole life in Casco Township, a place that she dearly loved and appreciated. She married her true love, Charles, and enjoyed being a farmer's wife. Together they had three children and raised them in a home surrounded in love. Maxine was also a nurse who thoroughly enjoyed her job and helping other people. She had a passion for life and tried not to let too many opportunities slip past her. Blest with 98 years, she made the most out of every one of them. The memories made are ones that her family will cherish. Maxine is survived by her three children, Judy (Dick) Hrdlicka, Terry (Norma) Fowler, and Carter Fowler; along with many loving grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Anna; and her husband, Charles. Maxine will be laid to rest along side her husband in McDowell Cemetery, Casco Township. Service Details.
