Mary Catherine Brown, age 84, of Glenn, MI died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008 at Holland Community Hospital. Born Sept. 28, 1923 in Ripley, Tenn, she was the daughter of Bud and Pearl Waldo. She was a homemaker, and lived in the Glenn area since 1951. Surviving are her children, Sandra and Richard Gilman of Fennville, Armelia Brown of Glenn, Dan Sanders of Fennville, and Roger and Marietta Brown of Elkhart, IN; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 8 great great-grandchildren; brother-in-laws Joe and Glenda Brown of White Cloud, FL, and Earl Brown of Mineral Wells, TX. she was preceded in death by her husband Alton Brown on Feb. 26, 1995, and a son Tommy L. Brown in 1972. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008 at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, with Ms. Marcia Tucker officiating, and burial in Taylor Cemetery.
