Mary C. Abbe, 66, of South Haven, died on February 3, 2014 at Holland Hospital. Mary was born on April 24, 1947 in Allegan, the daughter of Jack and Louise Carroll. Mary attended L.C. Mohr High School in South Haven and was a member of the "Dolphins". On May 21, 1983, she married Ray Abbe and together they enjoyed over 30 years of marriage Mary worked for many years as a Paralegal in Chicago and traveled the country for her job. After leaving the law profession she spent 5 years at Standard Photo Supply as a Human Resources Clerk. She enjoyed crafting, cooking, art and nature, she especially loved Lake Michigan. Mary is loved and survived by her husband, a brother, Tim Carroll of South Haven; a niece, JJ Carroll - Lane of Fort Wayne, Indiana along with two very special grandnieces, Jenna and Jayda. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will be held on the afternoon of Saturday, May 24, 2014 at the home of Mary and Ray.
