Martina MuA?iz PeA?a, age 101, of Fennville, Michigan passed away Friday, February 28, 2014 at Heartland of Holland. Born April 26, 1912 in Ronge, Texas, she was the daughter of Gerardo MuA?iz and Petra Moreno. She was a member of the Catholic Church attending San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church in Fennville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gabriel PeA?a in January of 1949; her children, Julio PeA?a Sarabia and Juanita PeA?a Ochoa; and her three brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her children, Pedro and Angelica PeA?a of Fennville, MI, Victoria Medrano of Weslaco, TX, Virginia and Alfredo Alaniz of Holland, MI, Gabriel and Hermelinda PeA?a of Fennville, Luis PeA?a of Fennville, MI, and Berta PeA?a of Holland, MI; 42 grandchildren; 108 great grandchildren; and many great great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Monday, March 3, 2014 at Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main Street in Fennville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church, 5586 117th Ave, Fennville with Fr. Fabio Garzon officiating.
