Martin Perez, age 89, of Fennville, Michigan passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Holland Community Hospital. Born November 12, 1922 in Mexico, he was the son of Paulin and Maria (Acevedo) Perez. Martin was a farmer, and long time Fennville area resident, moving to the area in 1970. He was a member of San Felipe De Jesus Catholic Church in Pearl. Surviving is his wife Maria Perez, sons; Jose and Rosa Perez of Pullman, Juan Perez of Fennville, Victor and Diane Perez of Holland, daughters; Lucia Esparza (Efrain) of Pullman, Beatrice Sanchez (Sostenes) of Bravo, Maria Escobedo (Felix) of Bangor fourteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, May 20, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, MI, and a Funeral Mass will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, May 21, 2012 at San Felipe De Jesus Catholic Church in Pearl. Officiating will be Fr.
