Mark D. Prins, age 54, of Fennville, MI, passed away on March 28, 2012 in Manlius Township. Born on October 23, 1957 in Holland, MI, he was the son of Lawrence and Anna Mae (Poest) Prins. A graduate of West Ottawa High School, Mark married Wanda S. Brinks on April 25, 1980, at the Beechwood Reformed Church in Holland. He was a woodworker, working in the mill room at Tiara Yachts for over 30 years, and was a member of the Beechwood Reformed Church. Mark loved the outdoors, he enjoyed hunting, shooting, cutting firewood, mowing the grass, any other outdoor activity, or just spending time with his family. Mark is survived by his wife; Wanda Prins of Fennville, MI, daughters; Julie (Derrick) Morren of Holland, MI, and Debra Henson of Fennville, MI, brothers; Jack (Ann) Prins and Ken Prins of Holland, MI, sisters; Betty (Frank) Poppema, Ruth (Carl) Southworth of Holland, MI, and Judy (Jim) Moskalik of Empire, MI, sister-in-law; Cheryl (Wayne) Arens of Holland, MI, brothers-in-law; Jerry (Yolanda) Brinks of Fennville, MI, and Norman Brinks of Memphis, TN. Mark was preceded in death by his parents and one sister-in-law Barbara Prins. Visitation will be held Monday, April 2, 2012 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm at Chappell Funeral Home, 637 West Main Street, Fennville, MI. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 1pm at the Beechwood Reformed Church, 895 Ottawa Beach Road, Holland, MI with the Rev. Greg TenBrink officiating.
