Marjorie E. Barnes, age 93, of Fennville, Michigan passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Grace of Douglas. Born March 19, 1922 in Muskegon, Michigan, she was the daughter of Donald and Katherine (Heisser) Keedle. Marjorie was a 1940 graduate of Muskegon Heights High School. She was active in the Fennville area as a member of the Pearl United Methodist Church, Pearl Ladies Aid, Secretary of Pearl School Board, member of PTA, Allegan County 4-H leader, Pearl Home Extension, and life member of the Ladies Auxiliary VFW. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard H. Barnes on January 7, 2004, brothers Ralph (Howard) and William (Bill) Keedle. Marjorie is survived by her children Ron and Kathy Van Dragt of Douglas, Don and Joan Nagel of Fennville, and Russ and Linda Barnes of Fennville; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and sister Annette Ballard of Ann Arbor, MI. In Lieu of flowers Memorial donations may be made to the Pearl United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 407, Fennville, MI 49408. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. and funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 20, 2015 at the Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W.
