Marion Helen Giles, 71, of Saugatuck, died Tuesday, February 22, 2005. Born in Wausau, Wis., she had been employed as a machinist at Holland Hitch, retiring in 1995. Surviving are her husband, Franklin; children Steven and Jenice Herzog of Wausau, and Denise Hawley of Laurens, Iowa; l2 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; mother, Helen Nowak of Wausau; stepchildren, Jackie and Mary Giles, Tommie and Connie Giles of Fennville, and Sherry and Paul Miller of Florida; brothers, George and Shirley Nowak of Wausau, and Theodore Jr., and Phylis Nowak of Arizona. A memorial service is planned for 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St., with Marcia Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Visiting is one hour prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Holland.
