Marion (Winlow) Darling passed peacefully on June 2, 2025, at home surrounded by family in Douglas, Michigan.

She was born on October 14, 1940, to her parents John and Margaret (Lisle) Winlow in Cullercoats, Northumberland in the United Kingdom. She met her devoted husband Daniel Darling with whom she shared a wealth of memories thru 51 years together.

She was an avid gardener, cook and self-taught artist.  She enjoyed being in her beautiful garden most days tending her favorite roses, cooking for friends and family or painting or working with clay, in her leisure time.  She is dearly missed and will be fondly remembered forever.

She is preceded in death by her parents John and Margaret (Lisle) Winlow, sister Patsy (Winlow) Williams and daughter Kelly McIntyre.

She is survived by her husband Daniel Darling; daughter Terry VanHaitsma; brother Robert Welch; grandchildren Sandra (Bradley) Matheny, Rebecca (Scott) Brewster, Leland (Heather) VanHaitsma, and Rachel (Tylor) Cook; great-grandchildren Dempsey Brewster, Bennett Brewster, Ryder Matheny, Knox Matheny, Liem VanHaitsma, Logan VanHaitsma, and Prudence Cook and cherished friends Patricia (John) Huyge, Marilyn Bulsok, and Barbara (Don) McGee.

Marion's wish was for cremation with a private family Memorial Service at a later date.
