Marie Francis Holck, age 77, of Fennville, died Friday, Oct. 2, 2009 at the Hospice House in Holland, MI. Born Dec. 18, 1931 in Johnstown, PA., she was the daughter of Joseph and Marion (Mattiello) Distefano. A member of Saint Peter's Catholic Church in Douglas, MI., Marie was a homemaker and seamstress, living in the Holland and Fennville area for the past fourteen years. Surviving is her husband Richard Holck of Fennville, daughter Geri and Tom Pantelleria of Fennville, sons; Jerry and Vicky Skala of Eagan, Minn., and Bill Skala of Illinois, seven grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, sister Lucille and Don Taylor of Johnstown, PA., and brothers; Jim Distefano, of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware , Tom and Tina Distefano of Wilmington, Delaware, Louis Distefano and Bob Distefano both of Johnstown, PA. Marie was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter Stephanie Skala. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, at St. Peter's Catholic Church Douglas, MI., with Fr. Tim Cuny, O.S.A. officiating, with burial in Fennville Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m., at the Chappell Funeral Home in Fennville.
