Marie Lucille Foster, age 96 of Fennville, Michigan passed away Monday, January 20, 2014 at Holland Hospital. Born August 7, 1917 in Saugatuck Township, Michigan, she was the daughter of Otto E. and Edith (Miller) Heinze. Marie graduated from Saugatuck High School in 1936, and was a homemaker, life time member of the Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary, and also helped operate Foster Brothers Grocery in Fennville for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband Maxwell Foster on October 25, 1998. She is survived by her son, Eugene and Mary Foster of Holland, daughter Carolyn and Michael Kubanek of Longwood, Florida, grandchildren, Kyle Kubanek, Shawna and Bruce Sneller, Ryan Foster and Nora Oosterhouse, great-grandchildren, Brenna and Mallory Sneller, sister Marguerite and Rod French of Illinois, and her brother-in- law, Ed Sandtner of Seminole, Florida. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m Wednesday, January 22, 2014, with funeral services 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2014, at Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St., with Ms. Marcia Tucker officiating.
