Marie E. Banghart, age 94, of Fennville, Michigan, died Sunday, January 30, 2011, at the Golden Orchards Assisted Living in Fennville. Born November 19, 1916, in New Richmond, MI, she was the daughter of Paul and Isabell (O'Brian) Gamby. Marie was a secretary most of her working life, living in New York for many years, and moved back to the Fennville area in 1982. She attended the Fennville United Methodist Church. Surviving are her brothers Frank Gamby of Fennville, and Floyd Gamby of Mountian Grove, Missouri, also many nieces and nephews. Marie was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Banghart in 1983, and two brothers Edward and Charles Gamby. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 1, 2011 from 3-5 p.m., and funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fenville, MI. Officiating will be Pastor Gary Peterson, and burial will be in the Manlius Cemetery, New Richmond, MI. Memorial donations may be made to the Fennville United Methodist Church P.O.
