Maria Teresa Lopez, 68, of Holland, MI passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Holland Hospital. Born April 9, 1952 in Harlingen, TX, she was the daughter of the late Juan Lopez and Isabel Flores Lopez. Teresa was a mother, sister, aunt and friend to so many. Growing up as one of the elder siblings, she was always there to help her mother with whatever she needed. Raising four children of her own made her a strong woman. Teresa loved God. Family gatherings were special to her and allowed her to relive special stories about growing up in Fennville. After moving to Holland, she still stayed in touch with everyone. She will be missed by so many. Teresa leaves behind five siblings, Ernesto Lopez of Fennville, Yolanda Valtierra of Fennville, Juan Lopez, Jr. of Fennville, Hunberto Lopez of Fennville and Maria Elena Rodriguez of Mexico; four children, Andrea Armijo, Sergio Armijo, Juan Armijo and Erica Brown, all of Fennville; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her father, Juan Lopez; mother, Isabel Flores Lopez; and brother, Eleazar Lopez.
