Maria De Jesus Alvarez, age 66, of Fennville, MI passed away Saturday November 7, 2015 at Holland Hospital in Holland, MI. Born July 1, 1949 in Mexico, she was the daughter of Crecenciano and Enedina (Avelar) Lopez. Maria was longtime Fennville resident and a homemaker. Surviving is her husband Urbano Alvarez; children Ismael Alvarez, Onelia Hernadez, Eliceo Alvarez, Eduardo Alvarez, Gererdo Alvarez, and Roberto Alvarez. Visitation will be held on Monday November 9, 2015 from 12:00 noon till 9:00 PM at Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St. Fennville, MI 49408. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday November 10, 2015 at San Felipe De Jesus Catholic Church, 5586 117th Ave, Fennville, MI 49408; with Fr. Fabio Garzon officiating.
