Maria Hernandez, age 84 of Fennville, Michigan passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at Holland Hospital. Born January 24, 1931 in Mexico, she was the daughter of Roman Martinez and Alejandra Garcia. Maria was a homemaker and member of San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church in Pearl. She was preceded in death by her husband Tiburcio Hernandez Sr. on September 15, 1996, grandson Nathaniel Hernandez, brother Jesus Martinez, and sister Santiaga Almanza. Maria is survived by her children; Leo and Susie Hernandez of Fennville, MI, Lazaro and Matiana Hernandez of Fennville, MI, Pedro and Dalia Hernandez of Fennville, MI, Tiburcio Jr. and Marie Hernandez of Holland, MI, Maria Sanchez of Fennville, MI, Ana Maria and Luis Chavez of Holland, MI, Yolanda and Steve Jimenez of Florida, Rosalinda and Clarence Peterson of Covert, MI, Miguel and Melissa Hernandez of Fennville, MI, Abel Hernandez of Fennville, MI, Celia and Moses Simba of Brighton, MI, and Carmen Hernandez of Holland, MI; 42 grandchildren, 66 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren; brothers Lorenzo and Dolores Martinez of Florida, Alejo and Cayetana Martinez of Michigan, Jose and Sally Martinez of Florida, and Guillermo Martinez of Kalamazoo, MI; sisters Maria DeLosAngeles and Maximino Martinez of Fennville, MI and Ignacia Martinez of Fennville, MI. Visitation will be Sunday, January 3, 2016 from 4-8 PM with rosary at 7:00 PM at San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church, 5586 117th Ave., Fennville, MI 49408. A mass of christian burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 4, 2016 at San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church.
