Margaret Catherine Goron, 94 of Douglas, died Tuesday, March 23, 2004, in Holland Community Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, in 1976, and by a daughter, Dolores Goron, in 1995. Born in Chicago, she worked as a bookkeeper for World Publishing Co, in Chicago, retiring after 25 years of employment. She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Surviving are her nieces, Loretta Dolan of Arvada, CO, Mary Alice Pittlar of Brookfield, IL, Margaret O'Reilly of Mound, Minn., and Patricia Enney of North Carolina. Services are 11 a.m. Friday, March 26, 2004 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 11352 Brown St. Allendale, with the Rev. Michael McMahon officiating. Burial will be in Douglas Cemetery. Visiting is 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, March 25, 2004 at the Chappell Funeral Home, with a rosary at 7:15 p.m. Memorials may be made to: Our Lady of LaSallette School.
