Manuela Jimenez, 88, of Fennville, died Sunday, November 11, 2007 at her home after a long illness. She was born May 30, 1919 to Rafael and Jesusa (Rodriguez) Hernandez in San Antonio, Texas. She was a homemaker and lived in the Fennville area most of her life. Her husband Esteban Jimenez preceded her in death in 1978. She was a member of San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church in Pearl, Michigan. Surviving are her children, Emmit and Rosa Jimenez of Florida, Esteban and Yolanda Jimenez also of Florida; Donna and Alex Martinez of Fennville, Michigan, Cruz and Gary Russell of Fennville, Michigan; Elvira and Manuel Rodriguez of Zeeland, Michigan; Mary Oisten of Fennville, Michigan, and Gloria Ferrer of Lake Wells, FL; 30 Grandchildren and many great- grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled Monday, November 12, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at the Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St., Fennville, MI; Services are at San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church, 5586 117th Ave., Pearl, MI at ll:00 a.m. with Fr. German Parez-Diaz officiating. Burial will be in Pearl Cemetery, Clyde Township, Allegan County, Michigan.
