Lynn Ann Welsch, age 60, of Fennville, MI, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at the Hospice House in Holland, Michigan. Born July 27, 1950, in Decatur, Illinois, she was the daughter of Benjamin and Margaret AnnaLou (Reeves) Marek. Lynn was a member of the Fennville United Methodist Church. She retired from teaching at the Fennville Public Schools in June of 2010, after 31 years as a seventh grade language arts teacher. She is survived by her husband Douglas W. Welsch; son Justin and Sarah Welsch of Dimondale, MI; daughter Gwendolyn and Brian Lesperance of Okemos, MI; granddaughter Emma Lynn Welsch; mother Margaret AnnaLou Marek of Tinley Park, IL; sister Joan and Rollin Dilworth of Frankfort, IL; and her mother-in-law Ruth Welsch of Fennville, MI. A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2011 at the Fennville United Methodist Church, with Rev. Gary Peterson officiating.
