Luis M. Pena Jr.,79, of Fennville, Michigan passed away March 8, 2023.  Born June 31, 1943 in Weslaco, Texas, he was the son of the late Luis Pena Sr. and Clemencia Munoz. Luis worked at and retired from Holland Die-Casting in Holland, Michigan.  He loved spending time with family and friends, testing his luck on scratch-off lottery tickets, and lounging with his loyal K9 companion, a Chihuahua named Blue.  He also loved his chickens and remained hopeful for the Detroit Tigers.

He is survived by his three children, Yolanda (Pablo) Alfaro, Tony (Carrie) Pena, and Mary (Robert) Ortiz; three siblings, Maria Ramon, Gloria, and Chela Pena; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Awaiting Luis in Heaven is his cherished wife of 60 years, Annette (Gonzales) Pena; his son, John Pena; his brothers, Greg and Raymond Pena; and his sister, Yolanda Pena.

Friends may meet with the family on Monday, March 13, 2023 at Chappell Funeral Home in Fennville, Michigan from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM, Pastor Carlos Lopez officiating.  A luncheon will follow at San Felipe Church.
