Luis M. Canales, age, 54, of Clarksville, TN, formerly of Holland, died Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008 in Clarksville, TN. Born Oct. 11, 1954 in Germany, he was the son of Domingo Canales and Anna Wittmann. Luis was a US Army veteran. Surviving are his sons Christopher canales, and Shane Canales, father Domingo and Donna Canales of Allegan, mother Anna Barnes of Holland, brothers, Carl Canales of Grand Rapids, and Spencer Barnes of Holland, sisters, Elizabeth Hill of Fennville, Carmen Kane of Galesburg, Tina Noyes of Schoolcraft, Bev DeVieres of Hamilton and Ruth Granddaughter Taylor Canales. He was preceded in death by one sister Sandy Barnes and his step father John Barnes. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008 at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, MI, with pastor Dale Scholten officiating, and burial in Fennville Cemetery.
