Louise Ethel Nickerson, 96, died Wednesday, May 11, 2005, She was a long-time Fennville resident. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Nickerson, in 1993, and a son, Norman Nickerson. Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Gladys and David Bernard of Hale; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Eva Mittendorf of Mesa, Ariz; and a brother, Thomas Wuis of Allegan. Services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St., with the Rev. Dennis J. DeWitt officiating. Burial will be in Fennville Cemetery. Visitation is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Fennville District Library or Hospice of Holland.
