Louise Irene (Eastman) Hutchins, 97, of South Haven, MI passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at her home at River Ridge.  Born February 14, 1927 in Allegan, she was the daughter of the late Rolla and Gladys Stockbridge Eastman and was the wife of the late Gerald Hutchins.  Louise was an active member of Glenn United Methodist Church.  After her husband passed away, she found comfort in walking, especially with friends.  Louise regularly walked from three to six miles a day into her 80s and enjoyed participating in 5Ks.  She also enjoyed exercising her mind by completing puzzles.

Louise is survived by her children, Terry (Kathy) Hutchins and Rose Mary (Tim) Haney; daughter-in-law, Tanya (Donikian) Hutchins; nephews, that she was close to John (Greta) Hutchins and Mike Hutchins; sister, Mae Cutler; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.  Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Hutchins; and eight siblings.

A memorial service will be on Saturday, May 24, 2025, in the Glenn United Methodist Church starting at 2:00pm with an hour visitation beforehand. Inurnment to follow at Taylor cemetery.
