Louis Raymond "Louie" Sikora, age 82, of Fennville, passed away at his home on Saturday, November 30, 2013. Born January 12, 1931 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of Louis and Frances (Svach) Sikora. He married his wife of 56 years (Anna Mae Ochampaugh) on June 8, 1957. Louie was a farmer, carpenter, and with his wife owned and operated the Ganges Country Store for 16 years. He was a charter member of the Community Church in Douglas, and attended the Ganges United Methodist Church. Louie was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, and one son Mark Dale Sikora in 1964. He is survived by his wife Anna Mae Sikora, son Louis Jr. and Denise Sikora of Fennville, grandchildren; Robert and Annemarie Sikora and Sherrie and Chhory Sin, great-grandson Maxwell Sin, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, MI, with visitation from 1:00 p.m. till service time. Officiating will be Ms. Marcia Tucker and Rev. Jack Balgenorth. Burial of his cremains will be in the Taylor Cemetery, Ganges Township, Allegan County, Michigan.
