Loraine M. Wheeler, age, 79, of Douglas, formerly of Grand Rapids, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010 at Grace of Douglas. Born September 8, 1930 in Grand Rapids, MI, she was the daughter of Glenn and Reathel (Roberts) Carr. A homemaker, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Wheeler in February of 2002. Surviving are her children; Gary and Llyn Wheeler of Kentwood, MI, Rachel Wheeler of Grand Rapids, MI, Rose and Steve Bush of Fennville, MI, Mike and Kathy Wheeler of Wayland, MI, and Robert Wheeler of Grand Rapids, MI, seven grandchildren four great-grandchildren, four brothers and one sister. Visitation will be Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010 from 2-4 p.m. at the Chappell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Wyoming, MI.
