Lloyd Eugene Polk, 71, husband of Rebecca Polk, of Taylors, SC, died Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Born in Caruthersville, MO, he was the son of the late Jim and Lucille Leek Polk. Mr. Polk was a member of the Park Place Church of God, Greenville, SC. He had also been a longtime member of New Vision Church of God in Holland, MI. In addition to his wife of 42 years, he is survived by two sons, John Polk and Douglas Lee Polk; three grandchildren, James Douglas Polk, Kirra Lee Polk and Liam Jacob Polk; brother, Elmer Junior Polk; sister, Mary Martha Dodson; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; two great-great-nephews; and many cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his oldest brother, Jimmy Douglas Polk. Services will be on February 19, at Chappell Funeral Home in Fennville Michigan. Public visitation will be from 11:00pm - 12:00pm, with the service starting at 12:00pm. Service Details.
