Lewis D. Atwood Jr. age 74, of Holland, Michigan passed away at his home on Thursday, June 22, 2017. Born on March 12, 1943 in Douglas, Michigan, he was the son of Lewis and Viva (Rayner) Atwood. Lewis was a US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam era. His favorite past time was playing and watching golf, he had a great love of the sport. Lewis is survived by his sons, Lewis D. Atwood III, and Matthew Atwood, both of South Haven, brother Frank and Deb Atwood of Rodney, MI, sisters, Eleanor and Wayne Wright, of Holland, Donna Crane, of Fennville and Evelyn and Lyle Wright of Holland. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2017 with visitation starting at 10 a.m. at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, MI 49408.
