LeRoy Lewis Looman, age 78, of Allegan, Michigan died Saturday, February 25, 2012 in Allegan, Michigan at Allegan Country Estate. Born January 2, 1934, in Holland, Michigan, he was the son of Clarence and Mae (Kamphuis) Looman. LeRoy served his country in the US Air Force. He worked for the US Army at Fort Bliss, Texas for over 30 years as an electrical engineer, retiring in 1988 and moving back to Michigan. He is survived by his daughters: Penny and Norman Wilsher of Lubbock, Texas, and Tammy and David Maddux of Conroe, Texas; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; his brothers: Dwayne and Kay Looman of Allegan, Terry and Nancy Looman of Fennville, and Bill and Cathy Looman of Allegan; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Chicora Country Chapel, 4399 108th Ave, at 44th Street, Allegan County. Pastor Herbert Curry officiating.
