IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lawrence William
Babinski
May 17, 1940 – September 1, 2022
Lawrence William Babinski, 82, passed quietly on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family. Larry loved his wife of 62 years, Phyllis, more than anything. They loved their many trips to Memphis, and in their later years they enjoyed summers in Michigan and winters in Florida. Family was the most important part of his life. He was a very proud father to his kids, Kim, Larry, Tami and Pam and granddaughters, number 1 Lisa, number 2 Sarah, number 3 Ashley, number 4 Krystal and number 5 Lauren as he called them. Larry fought so hard to stay around so he could watch a new generation of great grandchildren grow up. He loved many nieces and nephews as if they were his own. He will be remembered for his humor and his ability to talk to anyone, and we mean talk! Larry was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Caroline Babinski; his father, Anthony Babinski Sr.; and brother, Anthony Babinski Jr. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; his children, Kimberly (Gary) Morse, Larry (Lori) Babinski, Tami (Marc) Moeller and Pamela (Anthony) Yukic; granddaughters, Lisa (Nathan) Orange, Sarah (Kristen) Babinski, Ashley Radloff, Krystal Sackett, and Lauren (James) Peters; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, William (Gloria) Babinski and Duane (Jan) Babinski; sisters, Kathryn (Doug) Knapman and Sybil (Lee) Veldhoff; and sisters in law, Carla Babinski and Carole Vork. Larry will be missed. We love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Larry's favorite charity St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 USA / donors@stjude.org. Service Details.
