Larry D. Leslie, age 63, of Fennville, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014 at Grace of Douglas. Born October 26, 1950 in Douglas, Michigan, Larry was the son of Earl Leon Leslie and Helen (Sisson) Leslie. Larry was an Army veteran serving from 1969-1971. He retired from Holland Hitch in 2010 after 43 years of employment. Larry was preceded in death by his brother Mark Leslie in 1978, son Eric Leslie in 1991, father Leon Leslie in 1992,and mother Helen Leslie in 1994. Surviving are his sons Mark Leslie of Saugatuck, Mickey Leslie of Connecticut, grandchildren; Ava, Mason, Ember, and Landin, brother Robert and Kim Leslie of Allegan, sisters Patricia and Tommy Jeffrey of Evert, Michigan, Pamela and Jerry Bird of Fennville, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 5-7 p.m., with a Memorial Service starting at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening, at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, Michigan.
