Kenneth G. Johnson, age 60, of Fennville, MI, died Thursday, April 12, 2012 at his home. Born March 9, 1952 in Douglas, Michigan, he was the son of Walter and Antoinette (Kupres) Johnson. A graduate of Fennville High School, Ken was a US Army Veteran. He was a farmer most of his life and was known in the area for his sweet corn. Ken enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Randy Johnson. Surviving are his brother; Walter Jr. and Linda Johnson of Fennville, sisters; Joyce and Bill McGee of Fennville, Judy and Mike Petek of Glenn, nieces and nephews; Monica Johnson, Brian Johnson, Jodie McGee Crum and Randy Crum, Mike and Julie McGee, Nikki and Allen Burrows, Ryan Petek, Randy Johnson Jr., Joe and Amanda Johnson, great niece and nephew; Harlee Burrows and Brandon McGee, as well as two aunts, and many cousins. At his request, cremation has taken place and a graveside memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at the Taylor Cemetery, Ganges Township. Officiating will be Fr. Tim Cuny O.S.A.
