Kay Lynn Opalek, age 64 of Muskegon, Michigan passed away at home with her loving family by her side early on Monday, June 17, 2019. Kay was born in Holland, Michigan to the late Miles and Lucille Wilson. Kay was a giver. She loved to dance, shop and most of all spend time with her grandchildren. Kay is survived by her husband of 20 years, Ed Opalek, her two children, three stepchildren, four siblings, seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Kay is preceded in death by twelve siblings. There will be a Celebration of Life luncheon on Sunday, June 30, 2019 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Viking Lodge, 3132 Lakeshore Dr. Muskegon, MI 49441.
