Katherine Elizabeth Delke, 84 of Saugatuck, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2007 in Countryside Nursing Home in South Haven, MI. Born in Fennville too, Anthony and Rena(Ashley) Bieler, she married Anthony "Red" Delke on Nov. 10, 1945 in Douglas, MI, she was employed by Dr. Ed Nieusma, and she also worked for Acino's Hair Salon in Saugatuck. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church Douglas. She was preceded in death by her son Christopher Delke. Surviving are her husband Anthony "Red" Delke; daughters, Vicki Hutchins and Robert Sayen of Fennville, Cecilia Watts of Cheyenne Wyoming, Katherine McGee of Venice, FL and Antoinette and Jim Cole of Grand Haven; grandchildren, Anthony R. Delke, Logan Delke, and Tobias Hutchins; daughter-in-law, Julie Delke of Saugatuck; and a brother, Benjamin and Jane Bieler of Lenexa, Kansas. A memorial mass will be Friday, Feb. 2, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church Douglas, Michigan with Fr. Ronald Turcich officiating.
