Judy Glenna Baad

October 24,1947 – October 29, 2024

Judy Baad passed away unexpectedly October 29, 2024, at her home in Fennville MI. Judy is survived by her husband, Ralph Baad; her son, David Nyland; her three grandchildren, Matthew Nyland, Megan Nyland, Nicholis Nyland; her great grandson, Elijah Nyland; and her two sisters, Dr. Sally Kliphuise and Carol Carlson. She is preceded by her parents, Delores Duron and Glenn Ringwold; her sister, Shary Ringwold; and brother, Dale Ringwold.

Judy was born October 24, 1947, in Holland MI. She attended Holland High school and in 1993 she graduated with high honors from Davenport College with a degree of Bachelor of Business Administration. She started her professional career at Donnelly Corp., (now Magna Corp.) as a Staff Assistant to the Manufacturing Manager and served as Human Resource Manager for the Special Products Division when she left.  She loved working with people. She had a very high energy level. To her, no task was impossible, and every problem had a solution. She retired in 2006 as Director of Human Resources Manager for the Boroughs Corp. in Kalamazoo. Judy had many interests. She liked to work in her garden and take care of her flower beds. She liked to run and even ran a couple of marathons. She loved to travel, taking cruises and took several trips to Mexico. She was very proud of her Mexican Heritage and put together a book called "LA FAMILIA DE DURON" which told a very detailed history of the Duron family.

She loved living on Hutchens Lake and in our condo on Marco Island Fl. where we spent every winter. We spent many hours cruising on Lake Michigan and the Gulf of Mexico. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, who she loved very much.

Judy will be missed by everyone who knew her. A Celebration of her life is being planned for Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024 at 1:00 PM for family and friends at the Grand Celebration Center in Grand Rapids.
