Juanita Z. DeLaLuz, 86, of Holland, formerly of Fennville, died Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Hospice House in Holland. Born in Devine, Texas on August 29, 1921 to Emilio Zule and Pauline (Rodriguez) Zule. She spent her childhood in Texas and worked for Michigan Fruit Canners in Fennville for many years retiring from Chris Craft in 1984. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and a volunteer for Christian Neighbors. She lived in Fennville for 49 years and moved to Holland in 2000. She is survived by her children, Martha DeLaLuz Jimenez of Holland, Stella and Gordon Burns of South Haven, Robert and Irene DeLaLuz of West Olive, Noel and Terese DeLaLuz, Holland, Rick DeLaLuz of Fennville, and Tom and Elizabeth DeLaLuz Vanderby, of Holland,; 15 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren; Siblings, Julia and Ernest Morales, Francis and Manuel Herrera, Margaret and David Casillas, Patricia Gonzalez, and Emilio Zule Jr. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse DeLaLuz, son, Jesse DeLaLuz Jr. Visitation will be Monday, March 17, 2008 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland, Michigan. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 480 152nd Ave., Holland, Michigan with a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. till time of the service.
