Juan A. Gonzalez, age 53 of Fennville, Michigan passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at his residence. Born November 25, 1962 in Harlingen, Texas, he was the son of Pablo and Josefa (Echartea) Gonzalez. Juan was a longtime resident of Fennville and worked as a hi-low driver for Great Lakes Warehousing in Holland. He attended San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church in Pearl, Michigan, was a volunteer with the Clyde Township Fire Department, and truly enjoyed fixing cars for friends and family. Most of all Juan was a people person, who had a great work ethic and a good honest heart. Juan is preceded in death by his parents. Surviving is his children Cristina and Joe Fryar of Holland MI, Adriana Gonzalez of Holland, MI, son Noah Gonzalez; grandchildren Brady and Cody Fryar; siblings Robert and Diane Gardea, Araceli and Lupe Avalos, Sanjuana Gardea and Alex Cervantes, and Rick Gardea. A visitation will be held on Monday, March 28, 2016 from 5-8 PM with rosary to start at 7:00 PM at Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St., Fennville, Michigan 49408. A mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 11:00 AM at San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church. Fr. Fabio Garzon will be officiating.
