Joyce A. Sherman, age 77, of Grand Junction, Michigan passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013 at her home. Born September 12, 1935 in Bravo, Michigan, she was the daughter of William and Edith (Barnes) Woods. Joyce was a graduate of Fennville High School, and a member of the Women's Auxiliary V.F.W. Post #6134 Pullman, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Sherman, son Frank Sherman, brothers, William Woods, Jimmy Woods and Donald Woods. She is survived by her children; Diane Sherman of Grand Junction, Jimmy and Rebecca Sherman of Grand Junction, Jerry Sherman of Grand Junction, Debra Markl of Wauchula, FL, 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, sisters Dawn Woods, and Carol Flynn of Gobles. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, MI 49408.
